Renovating your bathroom is one of the most complicated spaces in a house - while with other spaces in your house you can develop ideas and add features as you go – bathroom design needs to be final before any walls are lined. All of your hardware need to be onsite ready to go so your tradies can install all the services and fixings in the exact locations before lining the walls. You need a clear idea of the look you want to create and ensure you select the right products for your space.
Therefore the bathroom design started with the bathroom fittings that we selected from Plumbline at Oakleys Nelson. There were two strong intentions as we made selections, the first was making a design impact, creating a unique, on trend and distinctive bathroom, The second was to answering all the practical needs of the space, increasing storage, improving the floor plan and upgrading the fixtures that were well past their use by date.
The end result is a delicate touch of the heritage of the home with soft blue tones and vintage coloured tapware in a very modern, on trend bathroom.
