Lounge Room Reveal | Diamond in Richmond
It is truely a privilege to be able to give new life to a house with so much history. The design and workmanship of the last century is still impressive today, so the objective of the design in our lounge was to add elements that enhance the features of the old villa while still giving it a fresh modern look.
We decided to give this room a feeling of luxury and sophistication, as it is a seperate lounge space away from the other living areas. To do this we renovated the fireplace with new tiles and paint, installed classic carpet and window furnishings and added a window seat with storage.
The wallpaper was not just the perfect backdrop for this room, I drew inspiration from the gorgeous pattern and colour that reflected the trends of the past but with a 21st century flair. Finally we furnished renovated space with retro inspired pieces to complete the look.
