Guest Bedroom Room Reveal | Diamond in Richmond
This room design started with the discovery of HANAMI wallpaper, the range has adapted iconic symbols of Japanese culture into their wallpaper patterns to create a stunning effect. I decided to fully embrace a Japanese theme, adding elements of simplicity, minimalism, nature and zen into the interior design.
I paired the patterned wallpaper with a blush voile material and grey loop pile wool carpet. We installed a brand new wardrobe organiser with a white glass and mirror door to keep the room decluttered and to mske the space feel bigger and brighter.
For the furnishing I focused on using natural elements in the flowers, plant, bamboo lantern and wooden stools. And selected the colours in the bedding to reflect the cherry blossoms trees and yellow within orchids.
In interior design, Zen reflects balance, harmony and relaxation, this room aims to do just that!
